Arnaldo Trabucco: Researching Medical Specialties

Arnaldo Trabucco found his career as a urology specialist by researching medical specialties after medical school and finding the best residency program that was right for his professional goals at the time. With many residency programs to choose from throughout the United States, finding the program that offers doctors the best options for their professional goals can be a huge challenge. There are many programs for doctors fresh out of medical school to help them find the best residency for their chosen specialty. Dr. Trabucco found himself unsure what specialty to pursue after he graduated from medical school. He came to urology after a careful survey of his options and seeking the council of a few of his mentors and superiors at his previous residencies.

Arnaldo Trabucco became a clinical urologist after a third residency at the University of Nebraska. He wanted to complete his residency there because the urology program there has a great reputation. Dr. Trabucco, like many doctors in the field, wanted a specialty he found professionally satisfying. After contacting practicing physicians in urology and consulting with a few trusted advisors, he knew he wanted to practice the medical specialty. He gained valuable experience as a surgeon during his General Surgery residency and went on to become a well-regarded urological surgeon.

ArnaldoTrabucco has run his own private practices in many different places throughout the United States and the world. He was lucky and smart enough to find experienced urologists who could guide him to a worthwhile and satisfying medical specialty after medical school.

Arnaldo Trabucco: The Importance of Patience

Patience is a virtue that Arnaldo Trabucco has exhibited throughout his career as a urologist and urological surgeon. It is important to remember that patience is key when it comes to developing relationships with your patients, working on research, and in diagnosis.

Patients

A lot of patients will naturally have misgivings when they first enter into a course of treatment, so you must exhibit patience and take the time to explain everything that you ask them to do. I doing so you will help them to understand both their ailment and treatment, in addition to making them confident in the fact that you care about them.

Research

Conducting studies can often be a long and arduous process, which is why it is so important to persevere and see it through to the end. This is particularly important when the results may not be what you were hoping to achieve, as it allows other to know that a particular area of research may not be helpful in their field. Furthermore, by trying to rush research, you leave yourself open to making mistakes.

Diagnosis

Diagnosing a patient can sometimes involve more than looking at the immediate symptoms. If you are struggling with a diagnosis, or are concerned about a symptom that isn’t common to the condition you believe you will need to treat, you should take some time to speak to the patient and conduct more research before deciding on a course of treatment.

Dr. Arnaldo Trabucco understands the need for patience in some scenarios and encourages all medical professionals to take a little time to think before jumping to a proposed solution.

Arnaldo Trabucco: Effective Communication

Arnaldo Trabucco is a Board-certified urologist with twenty-eight years of experience at medical institutions all over the United States. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Urology Association and the International Urogynecology Association.

Arnaldo Trabucco is committed to providing each of his patients with the highest quality of health care available, and says that an essential component of this is communication among health care professionals. "I believe a physician must possess the ability to communicate well with patients and staff," he says. "I hold a firm stance on what is right for the hospital, the patients, staff and the doctors. Patient safety and the highest quality of care are of utmost importance."

Effective communication, Arnaldo Trabucco says, is more than just effective interaction between physicians and their staff. It also means creating a culture that promotes respect, value and appreciation for the work and skills of all team members. Physicians must communicate with and demonstrate respect for other health care team members, across all disciplines. ArnaldoTrabucco has always worked hard to achieve excellent interpersonal relations with his patients, colleagues, and medical staff. "I believe excellent communication is a must to keep everything running smoothly. I always make myself available for anyone needing advice or consultation." Communication, he adds, is of the essence in order to provide clinical patient safety measures as well as to have inter departmental communication emulate the same endeavors.

Improved communication, Arnaldo Trabucco says, is not always easy. Barriers to effective communication are difficult to overcome and improvement requires the effort of everyone who is involved.

But in the end, he says that improving collaborative and interactive communication will strengthen relationships among colleagues, improve patient care outcomes, and minimize the chances of litigation and Board scrutiny.
