Arnaldo Trabucco - 28 Years of Urological Experience


Arnaldo Trabucco is a deeply dedicated medical professional currently practicing as a general urologist. He is very well trained and educated in the fields of general urology, oncology, urogynecology, and the most recent advances in laser prostatectomy. He has been trained in prestigious institutions including Columbia University and the University of Rome School of Medicine and Surgery. First, Arnaldo received his Bachelor of Science degree from Adelphi University located in Garden City, New York in 1976. He then moved on to pursue his medical degree from first Columbia University in 1978, and then finishing at -remove the University of Rome School of Medicine and Surgery. His first year of residency was spent at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York training in general surgery. As a general surgeon resident, he gained a vast amount of experience dealing with trauma in very hands on situations. After his first year, he spent his second year of residency at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut, which is a Yale affiliate. His third year was spent at the prestigious University of Nebraska Medical Center where he was awarded with the title of Chief Resident in 1987.

Arnaldo Trabucco has spent almost 30 years in the field of general urology and urological surgery. During that time, he has devoted himself to the research, development, and implementation of advanced treatment strategies to better alleviate his patients of their ailments. Arnaldo Trabucco is the inventor of the Trabucco Double Balloon: Urethral Catheter. The Trabucco Double Balloon: Urethral Catheter is used in conjunction with extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy and is used as a form of treatment for urethral stones with a 95 percent success rate. He has performed urethral reconstructions, stress urinary incontinence procedures, and urogynecology as well as transurethral resection of the prostate.
